Chris Ingram was selected as one the wonderful street painters for the Arts Alive Festival.  The Arts Alive Festival celebrates the City of Mission Viejo’s investment in the arts, the environment, education and a healthy civic life.  Arts Alive commemorates all that is great about living and working in Mission Viejo, blending family activities, entertainment, and Street Painting.  This free annual event will take place on Saturday and Sunday May 4 & 5th on the Village Green at the OsoViejoPark, 24932 Veterans Way.  As one of the Street Painters, Chris will be helping to transform the pavement of the beautiful NormanP.MurrayCenter into a gorgeous gallery of art!

This year is a “60’s” theme and the plan is to celebrate the life of Johnny Allen Hendrix; most folks know him as Jimi!

This is the 3rd year in a row that Chris was accepted as a Street Painter for the ARTS ALIVE FESTIVAL. See artwork from previous years here:

06/07/2013 UPDATE: Although I was never notified, … it turns out that I was awarded “WINNER: BEST USE OF COLOR” at the festival (see a list of all awards here):
